Bad things for good opportunity

We often find hardships as a negative occurrence in our lives, sometimes you think that it happens because life has a way to turn things around when you least expect it. You sometimes think that the universe is against you but in fact. It’s just the way it is.

Jim Carrey once said “Life doesn’t happen to you, it happens for you’’ meaning, you are not that special sad to say, because all of us is special and life doesn’t have a favorite, life happens for all of us, it does not happen to individual persons who think that life hates them.

“Life hates them.”

I really hate that thinking where an individual think that life hates them. All of the negative aspects, mishaps, and unlucky events happen because they think that life hates them. I’m here to tell you up front that It doesn’t happen like that. If that is how you perceive life, then it will all boil down to that stage. I mean come on, you have the time to divert this thought and think about those bad moments or the bad moments that is about to happen, to be an opportunity.

Bad things may hurt you, but the way I see it, it’s either you run from it and blab about it all day or you can learn from it.

Opportunity.

Bad things happen because it’s the way of life to give us an opportunity. An opportunity in life where we try to tell ourselves that “hey I learned from this s***” and you walk along and tell those stories to people on how you made a mistake and how you learned from it. Making people learn from your mistakes.

So in every time that you are about to face a bad situation, face it.  There will also be times that you know something bad is about to happen, now in that situations, try to think positive, because the more you think of something bad, the more you will attract it.

Life is so beautiful and too short to stress yourself with things that will kill you, thinking about those mishaps and bad events that is about to happen will just make you look older. Make it an opportunity to learn, don’t contemplate and whine about it, be ready and brace yourself from it, and if it happens, then try to ask yourself what could you have done to prevent it, ask for ways to improve it, learn from it.

That is the opportunity.

New Year New Me?

“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”
― Benjamin Franklin

Since 2019 has entered, I know some of you out there are planning to make a resolution out of it.

New Year, New Me.

Cliche' right?

But if you are serious in being productive, please take note that you need to plan and plan ahead.

Here are some quick and useful tips in making that plan, remember what Benjamin Franklin said,

"By Failing to Prepare, you are preparing to fail."

or I believe you have heard of something like, When you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
Now let's proceed..

In planning, you have to remember 3 things, well this works for me, IDEA, EVENTS and TASKS.

and with that 3 things it is very useful if you use these 3 apps from your phone lying around.

NOTES, CALENDAR and REMINDERS.

You can back it up with a PLANNER notebook if you want or if you are not a fan of using those Phone Applications.

1. IDEA - This is where you put any ideas that pops up in your mind, or what you have thought, or even that you plan to execute. This is also where creative thoughts happen, list of things that you want to do and review it later. In your phone, you can put this all in your NOTES Application.
2. EVENT - Since you have thought of something already, and you plan to execute it, do not fire away, do not just execute those, you need to plan it, set a schedule for it and you can have it done in a timely manner. What you can do with events also are your personal things that you plan to do, let's say you need to go to a seminar, you need to go to a wedding, put it there, the Date, the Time and the Place. Plan your days ahead with this, put it in your calendar, write it down so you wont miss it. You may use your CALENDAR Application, personally I use the GOOGLE CALENDAR App because it syncs in all my devices.
3. TASK - This is actually tricky, if you have an activity or piece of work to be done or things you need you need to buy, things you need to accomplish, just put it here. It can be related to the IDEA because it might be an IDEA but it is actually a TASK, but all in all if it is a chore, house chore, an office task, put it here. You can put those tasks at your REMINDER app.

so to sum it up,

if you have an Idea, a creative thought, a thing that bugs you but you want to look back at it from time to time, you can tag it as an IDEA and put it in your NOTES.

if you have a gig, an event, outing, date, seminar, planned physical activity, planned meal with someone, or anything that is scheduled and needs to be scheduled, tag it as an EVENT. Put those events in your CALENDAR.

if you have a task, a chore, you need you need to clean something, do something, go to something or you wish to not forget a thing or list and you need to accomplish those things, then tag it as a TASK.

It will never hurt if you plan ahead, you will be surprised on how not busy you are despite your busy schedule you can still squeeze in some stuff that you need or want to do.

Living an organized life will not make you a little less of a man or a woman, it will make you more mature, and have a lot of peace of mind.

Avoiding clutters in life reduces stress, and reducing stress means a healthy life ahead.

ika nga sa wikang ingles, "Let's cut to the chase."

4. The Last Piece - Eto yung sa handaan o kaya kahit hindi party eh, yung tipong nagdinner or nag lunchout lang na ambagan. May makikita kang 1 pirasong siomai o kaya lumpia.

Mr Pogi TV: Understanding Ghost Month: The Do's and Don'ts

Are you scared?

In the Chinese culture, Ghost Month is observed during the 7th lunar month of the year. Lunar calendar is different from the Filipino Calendar. It falls somewhere in August to September. It's the time of the year in the Chinese culture it is believed that the Gates of Heaven is Opened for the hungry ghosts to visit and wander around spontaneously, they look for places to eat and drink.

They look for water or sometimes beer (just kidding).

It is like the "All Souls Day" in the Philippines, but for this year the Ghost Festival will be on September 5, 2017, but it will be observed between August 22nd - September 19th.

In my personal note, Ghost Month has a different energy in all of the months, it is better to avoid major activities.

here are some..

Some Do's and Don'ts

Do Not Take Long Trips - it is believed that ghosts will show up in the backseat of your car and will make you scared and smash your car in a tree. So buckle up buddy! Take care when you are driving, avoid breaking the rules, for your bones will break if you do.

Do Not Make Big Purchases - if you are planning to buy a brand new house or a brand new car or a pre-owned one, delay it first. Misfortune will come your way. Ghosts will stay inside that house (they like new houses too you know!)

Do Not Build or Renovate Houses - Just like making big purchase, those big activities are eye catching to the ghosts.

Do Not Start a Business or Sign Business Deals (big or small) - Misfortune will come when you start a business during ghost month. Better to wait after the ghost month. Things can wait ok? There’s a huge chance for bankruptcy or failed business during this period.

Does Not Transfer Office - This is also a brand new activity; this is also a major one so avoid transferring to avoid misfortune in your office.

Do Not Swim - it is believed that ghosts will look for water for they are so thirsty. You want a ghost to drag you down under the pool or sea?

Do Pray - pray for them, I know you are not a church goer, but pray for them alright?

Just be careful during Ghost month ok? Have a strong mindset and always pray before you leave the house.

Mr Pogi TV Food Review: Wagamama Biñan Branch

(Photo taken by: Ma. Emilie Anne Bartolo)

WagamAmazing!

It's been a while since I last ate at a decent coffee shop. Yung feels ko dito naamaze ako eh? My girlfriend and I ate here last saturday night (August 5, 2017) around 8 PM.

Pag pasok namin naamaze ako, upon entering sa left side nila located yung up and down cozy spot nila, sayang taken na yung spot na yun parang ako, so we went to somewhere close to the counter. The place was so nice, cozy feeling and environmentally enticingly ang dating sa dami ng halaman na decors nila. So nag order ako, I forgot to withdraw some money so I asked them if nag dedebit card ba sila kasi hindi. 😭 Luckily I have some money, I was seriously hungry that night as well as my girlfriend.

Sinuggest sakin ni kuya barista yung sandwich na to, so I ordered this super sulit sandwich called: "Tokyo Tower" for only 155 pesos good for 2 na.

Yung nasa left side, potato chips yun! Nicely done siya and eto siya:

Champion eh! Good for 2 diba? Good for your Small Intestines and your Large Intestines! 😂

Meron siyang ham, bacon, lettuce, cheese, tomato, bread and bbq sticks!

Swear champion.

Alternative siya ng clubhouse sandwich.

Also for my drink I ordered their frappe called "Mt. Fuji" for only 129 pesos. See? Connected pa din sa Kita Kita eh!

So di ko natiis kinain ko yung marshmallow before I took a picture of it. It consists of Chocolate, coffee, vanilla, sprinkles ng unicorn and the whipped cream.

So next I asked my girlfriend if ano gusto niya, sabi niya pesto daw eh kasi healthy sh** yun, so ayan umorder siya ng "Basil Pasta With Grilled Chicken" for only 129 pesos.

Legit dahon guys, swear ang sarap neto. Hindi naguumapaw yung pesto oil neto. Champion!

Then I asked her ano gusto niyang drink, aba gusto niya Hot Choco for only 79 pesos 12 oz na!

Legit eh.

So ayan ang drinks namin:

Sabi ko sa sarili ko may kulang, gusto ko ng appetizer, so I ordered this Nachos pero solo lang kasi may bad experience na ako sa nachos sa ibang resto eh, their Nachos costs 79 pesos only!

At eto yun:

Panalo mga friendships, feeling ko kausap ko si Jack Black from Nacho Libre movie niya habang kinakain ko to. At yung solo nila panalo na parang good for two na! Nakita ko yung good for 2 nila na nachos at mukhang good for 4.

Di kami nag intay ng matagal actually, saktong sakto yung serving nila (I don't know if di kasi ganun karami ang tao kaya di toxic eh) pero ang swerte namin that night.

Naalala ko tuloy si Xian Gaza, yung billboard niya na "I don't know how to ESPRESSO".

Syempre papicture din ako.

At syempre siya din.

As you can see, self service ang water nila, for the dessert, di na kami nakapag try pero ayun sa left side located at mukhang yummmmeeehh!

My experience at WAGAMAMA was Wagamazing! The staff were nice and accommodating, food was amazing, the place was soothing and calming, feel ko gumawa ng mga sinusulat ko dun, also they offer board games upon request.

Will definitely go back there, I recommend this place to my fellow millennials.

To my friends, tara dalhin ko kayo dito.

They have 2 branches, the other one is located at Pacita.

Mr Pogi TV Movie Review: Kita Kita (I see you)

Movie Review: Kita Kita

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kita Kita. (I see you)

First off i want to congratulate the cast and crew of this film. GOOD JOB!

This review will be short like me and Empoy. I will try not to spoil a thing so don't worry!

One, the story. It is a predictable type of love story (for me ok?) I kind of predicted the end but I did not expect the feels. Like seriously I was like 'oh f*** no sh**'. Having a story like this in the Philippine cinema is like gambling a lot. People are not used in this kind of story in my opinion, but I love how the story went.

Two, the sequence. 2 things came into my mind, 1st, the feeling for me was like watching Christopher Nolan's film where in the movie, the past, the present and the future simultaneously meet. I like how they presented it, it was not boring, it did not made me yawn and I have to hold my bladder to not miss any scenes! 2nd it was unique. Im tired of how movies were presented today in the Philippine Cinema.

Three, the characters. Tonyo and Lea were the most notable characters for me in there. I asked myself what if Piolo Pascual or John Lloyd Cruz portrayed Tonyo? There will be "kilig" feels but it will not be so much "kilig" on how Empoy portrayed Tonyo. The way Empoy presented it was so natural, he was quick witted, funny and amazing. Alesandra who portrayed Lea was also awesome, I do have a crush on Alessandra since High School! Seeing her in the movie got me excited. Her portrayal in the movie was believable. I remembered Charlie Coxx from the Netflix Daredevil right away. I won't explain any further to not spoil anything.

Four, the music. It was chill type, especially when the Two Less Lonely People in The World plays with KZ Tandingan's cold voice queues. God, it was perfect, the score and everything. Where is the OST ? Hit me up in the comment section please?

Five, the cinematography. The long shots, the camera panning, the bokeh-ish shots, uggghhh it was amazing. It was comforting and it was done professionally and by that it resulted on serving the story well. Notable scene for me there is the house of Lea and Tonyo. It both showed how the world is to Lea, showed the world how the world is to Tonyo and showed the world how the world is with both Lea and Tonyo.

Six, the setting. You can really tell if a movie was made here in the Philippines or if it is outside our country. Well this one it was made in Japan. All throughout it was shot in Japan. It was a brave attempt for the filmmakers to spend money on a film that is kind of experimental. Also my dream place is Japan!

Seven, the Feels. It was striking, it was funny, it was heart breaking, it was exciting, it was thrilling, it has everything that I could ask for in a love story movie. One notable feel for me in this film was it was funny. The way Lea laughed so natural when Tonyo is cracking some jokes. It was natural.

Eight, the effect. You know how a movie is successful when it is still the talk of the town. The effect of that film still bugs me. It also changed how the people viewed Empoy. Like how the society today has been searching for the boy next door who is cute or handsome, but in reality it is the nice, romantic and funny guy that we need.

Nine, the message. The message of the film to the people was simple but yet they presented it uniquely. The message was just "You did not notice me when you were able to see me, but when you were not able to see, you actually saw who I really am." Love is blind, it doesn't matter if you are short, skinny, ugly, beautiful, sexy, and fat. What matters most is the person inside. Looks fade, but who we are inside will remain no matter what. This film will teach you how to love and how to love again.

Ten, the chemistry. I don't know about you but I saw a great chemistry between Alex and Empoy. It was amazing. It was like they defeated KathNiel, LizQuen and many more. AlemPoy is the new loveyeam of 2017 #AlemPoy. I will never see another movie again of Alex without Empoy as her leading man. Who would've thought that Captain Blu will be a leading man today named Tonyo.

So I gave this film a 5 out of 5, it deserve that score! A romantic comedy that didn't go mainstream for actors and actresses and a story that isn't the usual, predictable yet didn't leave us hanging, it was satisfyingly heart achingly good. This is the end of my review, leave a comment below and subscribe to my blog.

Alright?

Adios! (Two Less Lonely People In The World fades in background)

Mr Pogi TV: 10 Tips on How to Be Thrifty

How thrifty are you?

Well me, I am really thrifty. Like seriously thrifty. I remember back at my first job, they used to sell a cup of rice for 2 pesos. Imagine that 2 pesos, and i'm going to ask the server to put some toppings on it (where you put the sauce of a viand on top of the rice and you get to taste the deliciousness of that food without even paying a dime for it). Then after paying for my rice, I go down to the soup station where I get to pour soup at a little bowl and if i'm lucky enough a piece of meat will come and if i'm not lucky, sometimes a piece of ginger which disguises like a meat, but then again it's only for 2 pesos!

People have noticed my thriftiness today, especially when they ask me if do I want to buy some food and do I want to join them. I'll tell them "i'll pass this time". That's for about 5 days a week. In 3 weeks. For a month. I'm contented with what I bring from our house. Sometimes it's not healthy anymore.

I'm thrifty because I want to save some money. I like to see my bank account rise up. Seeing my bank account less from what I expect, I get depressed and makes me want to rob a piggy bank. Just kidding. Going back, In every payday I make sure to save almost more than half of my own salary. For example if you earn about 12,000 every month, so that's about 6,000 every cut off. Upon receiving the 6,000 you must set your budget already, for bills, food, allowance and daily expenses, and then you must save the remaining amount and lock it away!

Always remember to buy what you need, not what you want. But if you really want something, you have to make sure the pros and cons of it and you must have an extra cash so that you won't damage your very own savings.

So does that make me rich? No. Not even close. Because I'm only saving money, not growing it, soon i'll start investing for my money to grow.

Going down to the topic, how to be thrifty? I can teach you ways only if you are open to my suggestions.

Listen up.

  • Buy what you need, not what you want.
as I've said up there, you need to ask yourself these questions: "Do I need it?" "Will it be useful in time?" "Will i earn from it in time?" "Will it make me happy?" "Will I suffer from financial loss after buying it?" etc... spend your money wisely, don't be like someone I know who is a one Day millionaire.

  • Save money every month.
If you are a student and you have your allowance, try to save 60% of your allowance, for example your Dad (not your sugar daddy) gave you about 8,000 a month, save at least 4,800. If you are an employee and you earn 12,000 a month! Save at least 7,200 a month. Well that is my opinion. You can save 30% or less, it's up to you, alright?

  • Open a savings account.
Choose a bank that you like, put your money in there, if you can make it a passbook it's cool so that you won't be able to withdraw your money anytime that you want. If you want an ATM, it's cool also. Just save your money in the bank, have the guts to go straight to a bank, beautiful and handsome Bank Tellers are waiting for you.

  • Learn to budget.
If you don't know how to budget, then learn how to budget! List your monthly expenses may it be your allowance, bills, transportation, food and your nightly beering moments. Put it in a paper or a notebook and track down your expenses for you to have an organized list, so that you won't wonder where your cash have gone.

  • Think about the pros and cons.
It's like number 1, but here, i'm going to explain to you why. When buying something expensive and you can't think if it is a need or a want (well sometimes I get that dilemma). Think about the pros, for example you want to buy a new car what are the pros of buying a new car? Comfortability? Easy access? Now think about the cons. Maintenance every month? Insurance? Papers? Parking? Now think about that.

  • Learn to say NO.
When your friends tell you that they will drink for celebration and asks if you would like to come, stop and count to 3 and decide NO, or when someone tells you to treat them because it's payday, say NO. Easily saying no means less damage to your wallet. You wallet will thank you later.

  • Stop buying expensive coffee unless..
You have some extra cash. I will be a little biased here, I myself is a coffee addict, sometimes I go for the cheapest one for I just need the caffeine, but sometimes I do go to coffee shops and buy some expensive coffee to taste it and for I get my creative juices inside a coffee shop and I don't know why! If you want to spend some time at a coffee shop and you don't have anything planned for the day,it's ok if you have extra cash. It's either you go back home and buy a 6 pesos sachet of a 3 in 1 Kopiko and do your thing there, or you can spend a hundred for a coffee in your favorite coffeeshop (Starbucks, J.Co, Bo's Coffee, Coffee Bean Tea & Leaf etc...) capiche? But if you don't have any extra, go buy at Aling Nena's store a 3 in 1 coffee or buy 2 of it if you want it strong. So strong that you want to run a 50K nonstop.

  • Always go for the small size.
They say that SIZE DOESN'T MATTER right? Well for this one it's true. This is also a benefit for people who is trying to lose weight! Whenever Mark or Joy from Jollibee, Eric or Cherry from McDonald's asks you "would you like to upsize?" Just say No and tell them you are trying to lose some weight.

  • Bring your own Lunch.
prepare your food the night before or wake up early. Either way, bring your own food and avoid buying food especially when you brought one already. This will save you a big amount of money.

  • Control.
Lastly learn to control yourself buddy. That's it. It doesn't matter if you're craving for it, it doesn't matter how badly you want it, bottom line is that it is you who will have the last decision from it. If you learn how to control it, you will be thrifty as hell.

So that's it, try to follow those 10 things and you will be rich! Just kidding.

Mr Pogi TV: Remember Who You Are

Getting sleepless nights thinking about who you are and what do you truly want is not something that comes overnight and changes your life. There is no magic pill in this, for sometimes life has a way to discourage you in what you want to do until you come to the point that you'll say "oh fuck it maybe it is never meant for me, I quit." The moment that you give up is the moment that you say NO to your dreams. In my theory, the future is never truly set for the universe is endless with our thoughts. They say that the mind can achieve anything. For the past few weeks i've been waking up at 3 AM and find it hard to sleep with my thoughts running like a mile. I feel restless without doing anything. I started writing (typing) today and to let this out of my mind, my mind is like a raging lion, it is hungry today, wanting to hunt, wanting to feed. I find it weird that my 8 hour job that is stressful as hell is boring me. Something is bothering me today and no one seem to understand me. I think what is really bothering me is the fact that i'm getting to know myself more, knowing that i have the potential to become someone else, something else. If only i could live in the woods in Canada like wolverine did, but no shit, i have to live this life knowing that i am meant for something more today than what i knew yesterday. The future is never truly set, even if a future me pops up and tells me that I am a billionaire in the year 2029, I might not even believe him, for how stubborn I am today, I might not do what he tells me to do, but who knows? What if he tells me the right plans? for sure i wont have to worry for I know I will end up like Bill Gates. What's the point of living if you already know what you will become? That is why there are risks or a gamble, where you bet on something and hope and pray to God that it will come up as good. You will have to be liable in every actions that you do in life and it will shape you to become who you are in the future.

Sometimes, You do know who you are and what you want, but practicality keeps you from doing it. Why stop you from it?  Because you are scared of what might happen? You are scared of what will happen? We were born in this world and was taken care of by our parents or guardians showing us how cruel the world is, that we must study hard to have a better job , to buy shit that we want to impress the people that we don't like. The problem is you never truly know your potential unless you take risk from it. That is why only few people have dared to jump over the leap of faith, took bruises and scars and now they tell stories that inspires little minds to get big someday.

This will be the end of my thoughts for now, I will try and search for the feeling that will satisfy the lion mind that I have today. For maybe I never truly know myself yet, or maybe I know but won't accept it yet.

Mr Pogi TV: The Day You Start Why

The Day You Start Why

Just "Start". For months I've been lost and have wandered "what should I write?" I'm a bit unclear on what should I write. But this month, marks my 26th birthday, I kind of know what to write now.

An introduction.

An introduction to what I need to share to this world. An introduction on what I can contribute. I don't want to think what the world needs anymore, I want to think what can I do to make this world a better place. Writing has been my thing since senior year in high school. Poems, short stories, poetry, novel and even a damn business letter, I've been writing those back then.

I've been talking to a lot of people lately regarding their life, love, problems and career. Most of them are not happy, some of them are still searching and all of them does not know their "why".

We've been given life by our creator without telling us why. Without telling us what is our purpose here. Are we meant for something else? Or are we meant for something even more what we can think of? A quote from the movie Interstellar got me thinking "Humans are never meant to die here on earth" . I never knew that concept but soon I'll find out why. We go through our lives feeling lost, empty, feeling that big black hole inside our hearts wondering what do we need to do to live a fulfilling life.

Now, I am here to be part of that journey, message me and let us unfold the path of your journey, to know the secrets, to know the plans and to know life.

November, November Oh Will You Remember?

November, November Oh Will You Remember?

It's that time of the year again, where scary tv shows like Misteryo and Noli De Castro's Magandang Gabi Bayan is in a Halloween Special. Where Conjuring and Insidious is airing, as well as the classics like Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th is being shown on air. It's that time of the year again where kids come knocking at your door wearing costumes of creepy characters like Freddy Kreuger, Jason Voorhes, Trolls and Smurfs (wait that S*** is scary). Oh wait! We're in the Philippines! We're not in America! Oh snap we just cut ties with America. Well hello China.

It's that time of the year again when you go to the cemetery to visit someone who passed away, entering the Manila North Cemetery is like entering hell on November 1. You have got to brace yourself with those people who seem to look like those Jejemon creatures from the purgatory, staring at you, smiling, wearing their big Caps and Shirts, and God, oh God the trash is everywhere! You must endure those things to reach the grave of your loved ones.

Now while at the cemetery you start talking about the good times you had with them. Not the scary things on that day but the beautiful things.

Let's go back, I remember the time when my uncle was still alive, he told me that if I became famous doing gigs and rock bands, I'll go to him and make him my manager. But unfortunately, life is somewhat unpredictable, he died, still so fresh in my mind, his funeral. I miss that guy. Really nice person. Remembering him makes me feel melancholic (wow deep term).

Speaking of deaths, my grandfather, he is a respected man, my father looks up to him and I do too. I remember the time when I go to his office and he gives me 50 pesos in a red envelope called Ang Pao, but I was surprised when I found out that he's been giving my brother a hundred pesos. Talk about favoritism? Just kidding. I even remember the time when we ate at a restaurant called Max's, I was a big kid back then, i was fat (unlike now i'm sexy as hell) he told me he will join me in an eating contest because of how big I eat. I could eat 2 large chickens in a single sitting. I must be a mutant. Oh man.

Lastly my grandmother form my mums side, she always makes me laugh, like the time before she left our house that she'll make sure that the dogs smell her armpits to make them remember her. Also do you know the Proben? Sold for like 10 to 20 pesos, the chicken skin from the nearest street food vendor near you? Well yeah she brings a hell lot of those when coming to our house, well that explains why the back of my neck starts to hurt.

I miss those guys, I will always remember them in my heart.

Now, do you remember someone who is so dear to you and are you gonna go and visit them this coming November?

Feel free to

Comment below and share what you remember with them.

Body Bag

It's dark in here, care to read my story?

"tumataas na ang tubig ma."

I was scared, i didn't know what to do, i was hugging my mother when the storm surge hit us. it was so fucking scary, the sky was dark, the wind was devastating, the water keeps on rising and all that you have is lost. The only thing in my mind is that i must stay alive, my mom must stay alive.

It was really cold, i was only wearing a sando and a short and of course an underwear inside it. i can feel the water under my chin as the water keeps on rising. The sewer rats, the big slimy snakes, they were everywhere.

we went to our roof hoping that the water wont get to us anymore, just like cristine reyes went to her roof. I  was really hoping for a man with a jet ski to pick us up, but hell no, there were no rescuers, no jet skiing people or even superman to save us.

We only have a small house, it's just me and my mother in here, at the roof of our house... the water is still rising, the fuck did i do for this to happen to us. was it my hidden porn stash inside my laptop? i couldn't even save my laptop for it was washed away by that strong water.

It's like the movie 2012. everything was falling apart. Did God told someone like Noah that there will be a great storm and there will be a great flood?

The communications were lost, not even a radio or a cellphone i could listen to. My stupid iPhone got wet easily. wish i had my Nokia 3210 still.

I was shouting for about an hour because of the storm surge hitting on us. My mother was getting weak because of the cold, she slipped at our roof and i wasn't able to grab her, she went straight down to the current, i was crying and shouting until i saw her slammed somewhere hard, i could see that she lost consciousness, her face was facing the water, i was crying and shouting and i couldn't do a fucking thing for i was holding onto this pole.

i shouted "WHY GOD WHY??"

i lost everything, i was an alien, my papers washed away, my mother, i couldn't even speak after what i saw, after what happened.

as soon as the storm subsided i can feel heat inside my body, i was so devastated, hungry, sleepy and sick.

i can feel blood pouring at my calves. a shrapnel hit me under the flood.

i still am above our roof and the water is starting to go down.

the next day i woke up i still feel the same. the flood was gone and it's time to look for my mom, i walked across the street, people crying and people carrying corpses. i am so desperate for food and medicine and still i kept looking for my own mother.

3 hours have passed i sat down a broken car and i fell asleep.

i couldn't move my body, i cant breathe,
i was being carried by a soldier, i was still conscious and he putted me down, i can feel a smooth surface. i still couldn't move, so i just slept.

feeling groggy, i noticed darkness. i can feel that i was inside a body bag, i can smell other corpse. i was asking myself "am i dead?" then i realized, what's the sense, everything's gone. What did i do to deserve this? fuck you Yolanda and all the other typhoons.

Let's post something about Pride.

Seriously, this is us running away from our Pride.

BUT

We just can't.

It is always there, just like change.

even if you hide it, it is more freaking annoying to not say something that you can be proud of.

Pride, it makes you weak, it makes you annoying, it makes you supreme.

I myself have this sh*t clinging at me.
it holds me back from who i am.
it holds me back from what i can do.
it holds me back from being human.

I tried to throw it away once in the abyss, but then it returned like the walking dead.

I myself have this sh*t looking after me.
Making me feel supreme.
Making me feel what power should i hold.
Making me feel what i shouldn't be feeling.

I tried to lock in once inside a box called pandora, but pandora opened it. f*** you pandora.

Pride once helped me with what can I do.
Helped me with a tough decision that let me free.
Helped me twice with something that helped me become me.
Helped me thrice and a couple of times to be me.

This blog is just plain senseless. I'm not even proud of publishing this sh*t because it's just absurd but then again i will publish this.

just like these mother blubbers.

you know, they're just proud of them selves.

Philippines goes Gaga about this Lady

Gaga. damn she looks like Elizabeth Ramsey in this pic.

That explicit word is a curse word among the filipino people.

Originaly it's called 'Gago' but then men grew smarter and start to notice that even female beings can be dumb too, so there it is, the female version of Gago..... 'Gaga'

Then a pop icon appeared and used the word Gaga instead of Galunggong.

According from a source at yahoo answers:

"Rob Fusari, who helped her write some of her earlier songs, helped create the moniker Gaga, after the Queen song "Radio Ga Ga". Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta was in the process of trying to come up with a stage name when she received a text message from Fusari that read "Lady Gaga.""

Then the name Lady Gaga was born.

I wonder if genteleman galunggong will be an awesome stage name.

But then again

'Gaga'

Let me give you an example:

Woman: hoy gago ka ah bakit mo ko sinisilipan?

Man: gaga! Bakla ako masyado kang ambisyosa baho baho naman niyan.

Enough about that.

I don't even like Lady Gaga's songs. But heck i go gaga because she is hot.

With her weird costumes, with her weird dance steps, with her weird persona, Lady Gaga was a stripper back then.

First song that i've heard from her was the song poker face... And the word was made famous and drowned in the mouth of the people that i knew. I didn't go gaga with that song. (yes knew, because i dont know them anymore)

There even was a controversy that she is a hermaphrodite... Then i kept on looking for videos and pictures displaying her genitals but i don't think and in my opinion that she has one. Still i go gaga to her.

Then there came the song judas.

With that single song i have nothing against, for i am a song writer too. I wont go gaga on her song.

I write what i feel, i write what i eat, i write what i experienced, i write what i see, hear, taste and smell.

She wrote that song not because she is a satanist, she wrote that song because she wants to express something.

It is art. It is her freedom to express. It is her own view.

As blasphemous as it might look to the roman catholics, and will forever be a sin to the Lord,

If you think that watching the concert is a sin, so help me god.

Lady Gaga is a great performer, with her stage performance that she slipped, i laughed there not that hard but then again she kept on playing as if nothing ever happened. Wish there were blood.

Now at this very moment what is the reaction of the pope again?

Nevermind.

She will be performing tomorrow. again tomorrow... Wait she did performed last year 2009 right?

The controversy here is about the video and the song judas.

Some say it's mocking jesus. Hey i mean come on i know that is wrong why not tell lady gaga not to play he song Judas for 2 nights?

The problem is they judge Lady Gaga from her song.

If it weren't for her song the bible group guys will not be crying their hearts out.

Playing with bikini?

Well hello my friends, if you look closely some themes in some variety shows here in the philippines displays sexy women with sexy outfit. The that's fresh from my memory was the part where cristine reyes danced in a two piece outfit. Damn that was hot.

Whatever happened to the slogan "it's more fun in the Philippines"

Well enough about this, you might say i'm a gaga supporter, well the truth is

Yeah.

Nah im just kidding.

I don't take any stand. i do think something is wrong with lady gaga's outfit, well why not tell her about it.

Something is really wrong with the song judas, well why not tell her nicely?

In my opinion protesting is just a waste of time and energy in something like that.

To what ever happens to the youth after that show, then freaking guide them.

It's not like they are all going to be a badass kid who will dance with a bikini and sing and write songs like that song.

The youth knows what is right and what is wrong.

It is still their choice whether to follow the steps of Gaga.

Or become a priest like papa Piolo from the teleserye Dahil Sa Pagibig.

Cause baby he was born that way.

If you know what i mean.

Late night analogy of a caffeinated man

The moment our body starts to beg for our bed, is the moment our body begins to dread.

No man can withstand the power of tiredness, Even the busiest man on the planet.

You drink tons of coffee,
Tons of energy drink,
And tons of caffeine.

But no one can ever replace the power of sleeping.

I sleep for 5 to 7 hours a day, I'm like an iPhone for pete's sake.

We all are.

Staying late has a reason. Well maybe a thousand reason. You maybe staying up late because of something, you might be staying up late because of someone.

Or maybe you are staying up late because you are just sick.

The damn insomnia that strikes in a bit.

The sweet tender bed that calls you every night, but there is Facebook and twitter almost every single night.

It's a conflict of interest well you might say, I'm just speaking out something that i just want to say.

Abusive logic our mind can be, but our bodies are depleting instantly.

Give in give in, give in to your sleep. Before you start to see the lurker in your dreams.

I had a cup of this bitter drink, two spoons of it without sugar in it. Black as hell like my friend... I am not racist but i sure like to tell.

My heart is pounding like the clock is ticking, I'm just waiting for my final sailing. Let me sail across the sea, the deep dark sea if which i can only see.

The Memoirs of a Jobless Man (Intro)

Hey, as you can see I’m not much of a man who narrates his whole life into a single book. What do you call that? A biography? It will be awesome if Morgan Freeman’s sexy deep voice narrated my story. Well yeah that’s it. I am a Jobless man who tried to follow his dream but ended up in a catastrophe. It’s not bad when you think of it, you, failing on what you desire the most, what you love to do and what you want to become, it serves a slap and a lesson to you. All people have this colonial thinking as a human being, we do have goals in life, some doesn’t have it yet, some doesn’t know what it is that they want, some do know it and some does it and living their life to the fullest. Those damn B*tches. Hey, I get jealous too you know, but then the church tells me not to be jealous or get envy. Still I do get to the point that I am thinking of “I hope you fail on that you SOB” even though they don’t even talk to me or does something to me. Now that is dangerous and you people should try not to think like that.

Experience is the best arsenal in getting what you want in life. A Philosoraptor said “How do I get a job, if that job requires experience.” You do know what a Philosoraptor is right? Try to Google it.
So this is me looking for a job over the net, (Yeah we have internet now, any problem people before 1990s?) but still some employers likes people who do walk ins and makes you feel crappy and miserable after smiling at you and tells you “We’ll just contact you if there are positions available” and then you smile at them and as a fresh graduate from a good school you are hoping that you will get called by them because all of the people way back in your school were nice. I’ve been looking for a job after that great incident in my life that made me mad, insane and made me crappy for the rest of the month. I really thought that there is an easy life after graduation, but then I was wrong. I was dead wrong.

So here I am telling you what happened to me, if you found this book or file, you’ll learn something in it. Would you believe that? Learn? More like a joke. But hey maybe I’m serious and maybe you can connect with me. How I feel, how I felt and what will I feel.

Oh yeah, I’m Adam Aztec, I am surprised that Microsoft Word didn’t put a red line under my name, it only means one thing. I am famous. I have some insights in my life that I would like the people to know. I have magic powers, and if you read this book, you’ll soon learn how to use that magic in you. God, I’m speaking like Walt Disney.  Well anyway…
I am Adam Aztec and the rest of this page is going to be

The Greatest Decision In My Life

To love or not to love? that is the question.

It started with a make-believe date and I never ever forgot it.

I have a souvenir, a picture, our first ever picture.

She looked amazing. most beautiful girl that I have ever seen. and even talked to.

her eyes like the lost crystals from the beautiful goddess named Cosmos.
her nose like Cleopatra's image as how I perceive it.
her lips, red as a cherry, kissable like I dream it to be.

Her smile that can lit up a room and melt my heart.

keep her happy i said, yes i will i proclaimed.

we talked like we were dating, I even asked "so why masscom?" i forgot what she told me cause like in the movies, everything goes silent while the one that you really like talks to you. (yeah it happens)

and from that moment on my heart skipped a beat and told me "go for her" at first i was little hesitant knowing that i'm still young and there are cute and beautiful girls around as far as I can live my life.

but

from that moment on, I knew something is different about this girl.

Time flies so fast, that on a Friday morning I planned on what to give her on valentines day.

I gave her this plastic yellow rose, a large chocolate and a bracelet with her name in it.

and on a Saturday afternoon at the entrance of our school i was waiting for her to get out. suddenly i called her name

"Emilie!"

she said "oh?"

i gave her my present to her.

"Happy Valentines Day"
i told her.

Then she looked at me and gave me a smile and she said "Thank you"

From that day i'm sure she is who i want to love.

and that is the start of a beautiful story.

Reminiscing the part of my life that im sure she forgot but i have always treasured it. whenever i get down and confused on what to do, i always get back on where i started, as soon as i remember it, my love recharges it overflows.

this story is for someone i love, oh she knows it's for her cause it happened to her.
this story wont ever stop, cause i know for sure my love wont stop.
loving her is so very sure,
without hesitation i'd  press the publication.

i'm proud of loving her with all my heart, how i love my family and how i love my god.
like when a catholic decides to baptize, they are sure to become's God's able,
Like i have decided to love her until i am able.

i hope she smiles when she reads,
my daily task to her as long as i live.

now to love or not to love?

to love her is the answer to that question.

love her, protect her, respect her, take care of her, never ever leave her.

that is how i will love her.

it's 3:00 am i'd better text her, i'll be in bed in a bit of later.

Maarteng Karanasan sa Daanan

Maarteng Karanasan sa Daanan

May oras na marami,
may oras na wala.
Akoy nakatitig sa marami,
minsan namay tulala.

May kumikiskis, may pumapadyak,
